Our Story
It started with a work trip, a dating app, and an art museum.
We met three years ago in Cleveland. Yuri was there for a few weeks on a work assignment, and it turned out we were both on the same dating app at the time. We matched, went back and forth for a bit, and finally decided to meet in person.
Our first date was at the Cleveland Museum of Art. We spent hours wandering around, joking about the paintings, and trying to sneak into a few rooms we probably weren't supposed to be in. Afterward we had dinner at an old spot where Andrew used to work back in college.
By the end of that night we knew we wanted to keep seeing each other, even if it meant doing it long distance. Three years later, we still are.

Weekend Itinerary
Join us Thursday evening for a welcome party before the wedding on Friday.
A casual evening to say hello before the big day, running until 9:00 PM. Location to be announced.
Santa Clara Church in Oxnard. Please arrive by 1:30 PM. Seating is unassigned.
Drinks outdoors at Olivas Adobe in Ventura, about 15 minutes up the coast from the church.

Getting There
Everything happens within a short drive along the coast.

We've reserved a block of rooms for June 24 to 26, 2027, so you're covered for both the welcome party and the wedding. About 2 minutes to Olivas Adobe and 15 minutes to Santa Clara Church. About 39 miles to Ventura, roughly a 45-minute drive. Smallest and easiest airport, though fares are often higher.
About 60 miles to Ventura, roughly 1 hour 15 minutes. A good middle option, and easier to get in and out of than LAX.
About 68 miles to Ventura, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes in normal traffic. Budget 2 to 2.5 hours if you land during weekday rush hour. Usually the most flight options and best fares.

We recommend renting a car. Olivas Adobe is a short drive from town but not walkable, and rideshare can be limited late at night. Use Enterprise discount code XZ0321D when booking.
The Pacific Surfliner stops in Oxnard, Ventura, and Santa Barbara, and the coastal ride is worth taking on its own. Useful for getting up to Santa Barbara for the day without a car. pacificsurfliner.com

Good to Know
Semi-formal. The church asks that shoulders be covered and that guests avoid low-cut or revealing dresses, so a shawl or light jacket you can slip off afterward works well. Cocktail hour and dinner are outdoors on grass, so block heels or flats will serve you better than stilettos. Evenings near the coast cool down quickly once the sun sets, so bring a light layer even if the afternoon is warm.
We're having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones and cameras put away until we're outside. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll share the photos with you afterward. Once we get to Olivas Adobe, take all the pictures you like.
At this time, guests should plan to drive themselves from Santa Clara Church to Olivas Adobe. It's about a 15 minute drive up the coast, parking is free at both, and there's roughly an hour and a half between the ceremony and cocktail hour, so there's no need to rush. If you'd rather not drive, please arrange a ride in advance.

Yes. Cocktail hour and the reception are both outside at Olivas Adobe. Late June in Ventura is usually mild and clear, though the evening cools off once the sun goes down, which is worth planning for when you're choosing what to wear.
By May 23, 2027. That's when our group rate at the Holiday Inn Express Ventura Harbor is released, and rooms in town book up over the summer, so earlier is better.
Your invitation will list everyone in your party by name, so please use that as your guide. If anything is unclear, just reach out to us.
We're only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If you're unsure who that includes, just ask us.
